      It can do this in a lot of ways, but a big focus just now is on how social media is affecting young people through cyber bulling and eating disorders

      There’s not a lot of research out at the moment but definitely a link between SM and eating disorders in some people.

      Also I conducted an experiment last summer and found that, on social media (as opposed to the phone or face to face) it’s really easy for the minority (i.e. one person) to change the opinion of the majority (i.e. a group of people) – even on something as personal as attitudes towards drugs.
