• Question: Hello, Jermaine. I have been expecting you. My question to you Jermaine is Your boss tells your coworker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your coworker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company? Why or Why not?

Unless you’re really rich and don’t need the job, I don’t think there are too many people that will do this. For example – are they really crap at their job abd therefore deserve to leave? Or is the boss being unlawful (in which case the employee could sue…).

I’m not rich, and I have a family to support, so I have to say I probably wouldn’t offer to leave instead (plus I’m pretty good at my job…)
