• Question: Have you ever explored Music as a cure for depression?

      I haven’t personally but there is research out there to suggest that music can have a positive impact on our mood as you would expect. Anecdotally, we can all probably bring up certain songs or albums which lift our spirits. How these relate to those suffering from depression I am not sure. However, as you can see in this article (https://www.nationalelfservice.net/mental-health/anxiety/music-therapy-can-reduce-symptoms-of-depression/) there seems to be some benefit to not just listening to music but creating it as part of therapy. This may be more to do with being able to express yourself more freely through music rather than something specific about the music itself.

      If you are interested in clinical psychology then the website I linked above is great to read about the latest research in this area.
