It more depends on the actual condition itself, rather than the age. But generally these methods would be applicable to age group as well as condition. So it really all depends on a number of factors

Young and older people have different pressures in life (if you’re young you’re more likely to be suffering from a mental health disorder too). So while they might be approached in a similar way (e.g. CBT for phobias) they way that the CBT is done would be different for each group.
