Question: When you teach, do you find students come to the course expecting one thing and then it turns out differently to what they assumed? If so, why do you think it's different?

  I think it depends on the university. If they tell you what it’s actually like at open days etc then you’ll know what to expect. This is why I think it’s so important to go to uni open days etc and get a feel for the uni.
