Question: What was MCR uni like?

It’s a fantastic place: I love the city and the university! I only have experience as a researcher and teacher at the university but there are a lot of good courses on offer for anyone interested in Psychology.

There is a strong department at the university for anyone interested in mental health and the university has a great newspaper, The Mancunion, which any interested writers (like myself) can get involved with. I completed my undergraduate degree at Durham University which was very pretty but very quiet too. Moving to Manchester to complete my PhD was an amazing opportunity and I would recommend it for anyone who wants a city experience without being overwhelmed – for example, in somewhere like London.
