      I was a young carer, and also experience poor mental health myself, so this is what made me interested in psychology.

      People are endlessly fascinating. I am especially interested in how people believe whatever they want to, regardless of evidence. This seems like a big problem worth tackling.

      Ghost stories initially, I was one of those insufferable children who always had to ask ‘how’ and ‘why’. I always wondered how the brain created hallucinations and experiences which defied reality. My interests have widened considerably since then but that was the initial hook for me.
